about
david calease is a secretary of the interior (soi) – qualified architectural historian with nearly ten years of professional experience. david has worked two different state historic preservation offices where he was responsible for section 106 review & compliance and the national register of historic places, respectively. with the national park service, david specialized in historic documentation and treatment recommendations for our nation’s most significant historic resources. he has a strong background of researching and documenting historic contexts, identifying historic properties, evaluating integrity, and assessing effects of potential undertakings and specialized treatments. at snyder & associates, david has undertaken multiple architectural reconnaissance surveys for various federal and state projects, encountering and evaluating both urban and rural resources.
